When Rush switched record labels in 1989, their former label, Mercury, capitalized on the band by releasing several "best of" packages. 20 years later, it only made sense for their current label, Atlantic, to now do the same. Overall this is a good representation of their last six albums, yet curiously, some of the more well known songs are left off the package. Since the band really never had any singles to begin with, it really didn't matter much.

A curious note: the cover features all of the albums represented from the timeframe, yet curiously, the cover for Snakes and Arrows is missing on the photo, yet it in it's place is the cover for the live album that immediately followed. The two songs represented from the jarbled Vapor Trails have been mercifully remastered. They're an improvment. A slight one.
