Dylan simply had too many strong
masterpieces that could fit on a single, greatest hits album. Even
though this only covers six albums of material, it's, without a doubt,
his best period overall. Still, if you can only have ten songs, this
serves as the best sampler as to what all the fuss was about in case you
were living under a rock during the 1960's. The best of the best are all here, and the
one new song, Positively 4th Street earns its right to be
included with the great tracks selected here. Yes, there is so much more,
even back then, but this is the best starting point.
