Trouble No More: The Bootleg Series,
Volume 13 (1979-1981) (2017)

102 songs. Too numerous to list here

There have been phases in Bob Dylan's career that were less then favorable among the majority of his fans. His "Born Again" Christian period was definitely one. It wasn't so much that fans were upset at him for his new found faith, it's just that the material that he produced during this time really wasn't that good. He's pretty heavy on his messaging as well, so that probably had something to do with it. It also didn't help when he went on tour and only played songs from this time period.

Like his last few "bootleg" releases, this one has multiple discs and over 100 songs. I'll be honest as I was on my other reviews of these lengthy compilations, I didn't listen to it all. I listened to enough. I mean, if I can't listen to 100 + demos etc. from his brilliant periods, I'm certainly not going to waste my time on something like this.

Kudos to Dylan and company for basically releasing everything - now and in the future - I just can't listen to all of this.
