This one first came out in VHS format around 1991 in a much more abbreviated version. Back then, it was uncommon for artists to release the entire show on live recording. I'm not really sure why. Maybe the equipment wasn't as sophisticated? Fortunately, it now seems a given that whenever an artist releases a live DVD or CD, the entire show is featured. So maybe the actualy video isn't available for this show (shows actually - 2 on back to back nights). It's at least nice to have the whole thing in audio format.

It's also worth noting that Billy Joel was really at the top of his game in 1990. Some would argue that his output wasn't as strong as earlier years, but as far as live performances go, this was when going to a Billy Joel concert really meant something. I would guess that there haven't been that many concerts performed at Yankee Stadium, and if there's ever an artist that should be able to use the venue for such a purpose, who else but Bronx born Billy?

One minor gripe I have is that the running order of the songs don't match up with how he performed them at an actual show. Diehards such as myself notice these things, an it pulls a bit of the punch away from the listener. I'm really not sure why someone felt the need to do this.
